I drew these a while ago but only recently got the good scanner hooked up after our move. I haven't had much time to draw for fun due to too much freelance work. But I'm not complaining!

Disney's FIRST Woman Director!

Check out the Women In Animation blog for an interview with Disney's first woman director, Stevie Wermers-Skelton. It's really hard to believe Disney hasn't had a woman director until now. She co-directed the new Goofy short, How to Hook Up Your Home Theatre. Thank you Kristine for putting this together! :D

Christmas Sketches

The BIG Move!!!!

Well, there's a very good reason I haven't been posting lately. We finally made the BIG MOVE into Chicago! YAY!!! And we have an awesome roommate too! For those of you who don't know, we moved from Mokena (village near Joliet) to the North-West side of Chicago over Thanksgiving weekend. It was very sudden. Our friend, Dan, just got hired at an animation studio in Texas and we suddenly got his place. (It all happened in like 2 weeks!) We're only 15 min from work and about 25 min from downtown. :D

Weekend Sketches

I haven't been sketching much because I've been reading a book on all my train rides lately. So this weekend I tried sketching and this is the best I could come up with. :S The lady with a tall neck is based on crayon drawings my little sister did when she was very young- all her people had giraffe necks.

Delicacy

On the train ride home this evening, I was really hungry and listening to the Triplets of Belleville soundtrack. This is the result of that. I don't know why he's eating that. Don't ask me...
