The other night I had a dream I got the chance to animate Superman. But as I was doing character designs and thumbnails, the Emperor from Star Wars was trying to stop me! He was using the force against me, blowing my papers away. So, I refused to let the dark side defeat me and drew this last night.

I'm such a geek, aren't I? ;)

Wow....I just saw another pic from Rupunzel, the new (2009) Disney feature Glen Keane is directing. Here's the link.

I was planning on doing some character animation with dialogue. So I picked a piece of dialogue from the 11 sec. club archive and did a bunch of character designs. Then, after thumbnailing, I dumped it and picked a different piece. So here are a bunch of rejects. ;)

Disney's FIRST Woman Director!

Check out the Women In Animation blog for an interview with Disney's first woman director, Stevie Wermers-Skelton. It's really hard to believe Disney hasn't had a woman director until now. She co-directed the new Goofy short, How to Hook Up Your Home Theatre. Thank you Kristine for putting this together! :D
